2 races this weekend and another 2 top 10 results

Friday was another flat course close to Antwerp. Half way there I realised I had 2 bikes, 2 pairs of shoes but no helmet. But I decided that I would take the chance that somebody had 2. On arrival, all the big team buses checked for me and Topsport Vlaanderen managed to produce one. So the stress then went,  until I got to the start line of course. As the race went on I felt strong and continued to sit near the front of the peleton to cover all the moves. The Australian National team were there for the win so I just sat on them and got away with one of their riders in a counter attack but it wasn't to be. Lotto was pulling everything back. As we got into the final 500m, I positioned myself behind the Australian lead out train and sprinted for 5th-results below

The UK

The second race was on Sunday in Wallonie. Not much to report on this race other than 74.2km speeds on a downhill section. I knew that I just had to sit near the front and take my brain away and sprint for the line- this I did and got 8th.
 
I will possibly race on Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Monday depending on how the legs feel and then I am home for a week or so.
