Ok so I apologise for not having done an entry in a while, this year so far hasn't exactly gone as planned and I guess I've been neglecting my Braveheart duties as a result!

Since my last entry I went to the Ras but unfortunately got sick after the second stage, so much so I couldn't eat anything. I really didn't want to just quit so I tried to battle on and managed so for a further two stages where I lost more than an hour and was eliminated! I must admit I was pretty gutted as I'd been really looking forward to it. Afterwards I took a week off at home to recover before going back down to my team's base in Brighton. I've done 3 races since, the East Yorkshire premier where Evan put in a great ride to win, a UCI 1.1 in the Netherlands and yesterday the national champs all within a week! I struggled in the premier and the Dutch race but my legs were beggining to come round by yesterday and I felt I did my job fairly well in support of Yanto who managed to get the bronze medal. This was a great result for the team and I feel further strengthens our case for a start at the Tour of Britain! I'd just like to say thanks again to coach Mark, my parents and Nick Collins (owner of DFL) for being patient with me through this difficult period and continuing to support me.

Anyway, there is still 3 months of the season left to go and plenty of races for me to focus on, I'm making the Tour of Britain a real objective!! I feel I am really yet to show what I'm capable of this year and hopefully that will be the race to do it in!!!

a bientot.
